Easter Basketball Camps
The Arena is teaming up with top coaches to bring Easter basketball camps back to the premier basketball venue in the country. This camp will cater for boys and girls of all ability levels from beginners to junior internationals. Players will be divided into groups based on age and ability and will be provided with expert coaching aimed at teaching the FUNdamentals of the game. The facilities boast height adjustable baskets, indoor & outdoor courts and a shop.

Camp Director: David Donnelly
David Donnelly is a former Senior Men’s Irish International basketball player and Superleague captain of DCU Saints. David has a huge amount of experience coaching all levels of underage basketball and has worked in camps throughout Ireland and in the USA. David also previously worked as a Regional Development Officer for Basketball Ireland and currently coaches in Mount Anville Secondary School and St. Vincent’s Basketball Club.
Dates: Tues 10th – Fri 13th
Times: 10:00am – 3:30pm each day
Ages: 7 to 17
Cost: €60 per person
Discount: Family - €10 off any additional family members
All campers should bring to camp each day:
- A packed lunch
- A water bottle
- A basketball
- Appropriate clothing i.e. trainers, track suit, t-shirt and shorts

Breakfast Launch
We had a very successful Branding Launch of the "Arena at Tallaght" on 18th January when we hosted a South Dublin B2B Breakfast; .
We also used the occasion to launch our new website.
The Breakfast Meeting saw over 45 members from local businesses and some special guests including BI Board Members, Mr Peter Byrne CEO of South Dublin Chamber and Councilor Mick Duff, come to The Arena at 7am for their breakfast. This followed by their monthly meeting where every member spoke for one minute. Bernard O'Byrne represented The Arena where he took everyone through a powerpoint display with information and images on the new look Arena. After the meeting the members took to the court where they competed in a shoot out competition. The winner was Mark Kenny who won a meal for two in our hospitality partner, The Louis Fitzgerald Hotel.

AnCosán Fundraiser
On 12th February The Arena will be the only place to be! AnCosán have organised a World Record attempt that promises to be a great day of fun. They will attempt to beat the Guiness World Record for the most amount of people to perform Zumba. The Zumbathon is open to anyone who would like to take part and there is a cost of €11.
